The Buckingham Palace (Westminister, England)--Erika Graham

Getting to see the Buckingham Palace is one of the best parts of visiting Great Britain. Its beautiful exterior is remarkably similar to some of the architecture we saw in class. The use of geometry and clean lines is very characteristic of Roman architecture. Specifically, the Buckingham Palace reminds me of the typical Roman temple, such as the Pantheon in Rome. To me, the Buckingham Palace represents power, significance, and permanence.
