Built in 1930, this building is one of my favorites in New York City. It is inspirational because it is in the middle of Midtown and that area is amazing. It is next to great places and you can see everything "touristy" from above. Central park, Grand Central Station, and Times Square can be seen from up there. It is my favorite because of the top structure. The arches that extend all the way down is amazing and I like the layering of glass. The points in the arches are beautiful.
