Ca' d'Oro (Venice, Italy)--Erika Graham

One of the most beautiful cities I’ve ever seen is the city of Venice, Italy. From the beautiful “water streets” to the Roman inspired architecture, the views are absolutely breathtaking. One building that I find particularly interesting is the Ca' d'Oro, an Italian palace located on the Grand Canal. The building’s white exterior is considered to be fashioned in the “Bon's Venetian floral Gothic” style and reminds me a lot of the Roman architecture we saw in class. The Ca' d'Oro, to me, represents an element of old world charm in 21st Century.
