The White House - Nathaniel Ashley

Above is a picture of my brother and me standing outside the gate to the White House in Washington, DC. The home to the throne of the states and the center of power for our country. Wasn't as impressive as you would think. compared to other leading countries, this threshold seems meager at best. If you think about it though, it represents what the founding fathers wanted to get across. The president should be humble and not in a castle in order to better understand the people under them. This is how everyone should be. Because people worry about the latest fads, instead of each other, that is when bad things happen. But you can't think of other people in their best interest unless you are able to walk a mile in their shoes (or sandals if you prefer).
