Devon Boathouse - Brad Lawson

Today was the first day that I have visited the Devon Boathouse and it's design was very refreshing compared to the majority of Oklahoma's architecture. The building's large windows that take up the entire front wall look over the river and provide a sense of aquatic prowess that is rare in the midwest. Buildings like this are very foreign to me and I hope to see more constructed in Oklahoma. The building is very nice but still very centered around the rowing culture. Hopefully more buildings are made that are more friendly to people that aren't part of that community.
