The Seattle Space Needle is another building that caught my interest when I was younger and help solidify my desire to become an engineer. I do think it is a very unpractical building but the design of the "stand" is amazing. I went to Seattle for a soccer game with my college team and they all made fun of me for how excited I got to see the Space Needle in person. I was very admit about going to see it up close, so much so that my coach let me and a couple other teammates take our rental van to see it one night. The way that the "stand" is thinned out in the middle was mind blowing to me, and the whole reason that I like this building so much.
