The Twin Towers architect was Minoru Yamasaki. All though I have never been to these buildings,

they have had an impact on my life, twice. In the 1970's when they were being built, they were topic of

the news almost every day  reporting on the design, the open floor plans, the elevators that did not go to

the top and that they would be known as the tallest buildings. Then again in 2001, when the towers came

down, the impact on my life was heartfelt.  I was no longer just training people in case of  war, I was preparing them to leave for war.
