Josh Cosgrove #4

Lastly, of the sites I visited on my trip to Europe, one of the seemingly most underwhelming was the Spanish Arch in Galway. However, what it lacks in visible intrigue, it makes up for in historical significance. The arch has been standing for over five hundred years and was instrumental in protecting the inner city of Galway from intrusion. When you look at it, the arch is nothing more than a few stones cemented together, but you can imagine all of the history it has been through.
