I got the chance when I was 16 to go on a trip to DC with my family. Instead of seeing it duriong the day and taking a tour we stopped by at dusk when the sun was going down. The picture above does not due justice to the site of how massive and amazing this building truly is. I had seen the white house a million times in pictures and in movies but to be standing in front of it with the lights shining and the large, open, green lawn; it was one of the most intimidatiing and beautiful buildings I have ever seen.
