This is the Hayden Planetariun in New York. Since I loved the Oklahoma Planatarium so much, it is no suprise that being able to go to one of the largest planatarium's in the United States was a dream come true for me. The magnificence and beauty of the architecture really speaks for itself as the outside of the building looks like something from a scifi movie. The inside is full of large comfortable seats that are tilted upwards to the enormous black screen above that serves as the background for the cosmos throughout the presentation. Even though I did not get to meet my long time idle and operator of the planetarium, Astrophysicist Neil DeGrasse Tyson, it is still in my top 5 favorite vacations.
