Carson Energy Center here at OU houses the Office of the Engineering Dean as well as classrooms for a multitude of engineering disciplines. Personally, I have had many classes in this building ranging from Signals and Systems to Electromagnetic Fields. There is only one class that this building will always bring me back to, Electronics Lab. This class cemented my love for Electrical Engineering. It allowed me to not only expand my knowledge of the application of the theory I had learned so far in my engineering schooling, but it also pushed me to become closer to the friends I already had in EE and form new relationships that I might not have otherwise. This sturdy but blocky building may not be winning any beauty contests, but the staircase greeting you at the open center entrance will always be a reminder of my most enriching college experience.
