NW OKC Library - Zach Brinlee
This is the new NW OKC Library. I grew up just around the corner from here, and as a child never really had a library that was close. The library has only been around for 3 or 4 years, but I have utilized it numerous times when I go back to my parents and need to study. The building captures Oklahoma perfectly, the oil rigs coming out of the roof that span down to the floor. They have private study rooms that are at the base of each oil rig and the entire building is glassed on the outside. This makes it a very inviting place and utilizes natural light very well. This is a building that I wish was around 10 years ago, but I am happy to have it now.
