NorthPark - Scott Vo
I know I said I didn't like shopping malls. However, Northpark in Dallas, Texas is an exception. It is a very open area and has a courtyard in the center. There are outdoor restaurants in the mall and artwork in every wing. It is more of a casual museum to me than a shopping mall. The layout is small and very simple. It gives me peace when I come here to pick something up. There is even a small pond inside where the ducks and turtles frolic. This is not a big mall at all. I appreciate the exposed brick and how simple this building is. I like the glass lighting in the food court as well.
