This is a geodesic dome house I remember seeing listed for sale back when my wife and I were beginning to search to buy a house in early 2010. We wanted to go look at it out of curiosity but we never did. At the time it was pretty reasonably listed in the $130's and sits on 10 acres of land. It's pretty far out off of Alameda close to Lake Thunderbird. We wanted something with a lot easier access to I-35, and we had concerns about ever finding anybody with enough experience to do any repair work due to the unusual design. We also didn't know if we could have gotten a loan because there weren't really any comps, and the banks were beginning to really tighten down on their lending practices about that time.
