Gallagher Iba Arena - Steve Kennedy

I lived and worked in Stillwater in the second half of the 1990's. I used to attend some of the basketball and football games before the renovations were made.  I liked how the basketball arena was small and historic; made for a loud and exiting atmosphere.  I can't say I liked the football stadium as much. - When they announced how they were going to keep the facilities in the same location, raising the roof on the basketball arena, I thought that is was a great decision.  I like how it is right there in as part of the campus, and not off somewhere.  I think the architecture is a nice modern looking facility with the stately look preserved by using brick.  If I remember correctly it looks very similar to the Petroleum Geology building that is in close proximity, which T.Boone donated heavily to as well.
