One of my favorite buildings on campus is Lisa and Cy Wagner Hall. From the outside, this building perhaps isn't as aesthetically pleasing from the outside as Price or Evans Hall, and I did not notice it for a long time. However, last year I got a job working in this building, and I developed an appreciation for it.
One of the main assets of this building is the lighting. Although it doesn't seem like much from the outside, the lobby of the building has one of the best atmospheres on campus if you are trying to study. This is due partially to the lighting, which manages to create a balance of natural and artificial light. Another is the details, like the shape of the windows and door frames found both inside and outside the building. Lastly, the materials inside the lobby seem high quality and welcoming. The building is the location for the university college tutoring center, and the atmosphere that these factors creates seems to complement that purpose perfectly.
