Turner Falls Castles | Davis, OK
The Turner Falls Castles (if you can call them castles), were a group of building build for an OU professor as summer home. They have pretty much deteriorated to the stone and lumber that holds it together. I really enjoy going to these places because it gives a glimpse of days gone by. There are small narrow staircases that run up some of the walls. The roofs are flat and able to walk on. There's just a massive amount of stone -- all mined from the local mountain no doubt. It just a very interesting and dynamic building that I visited as long as I can remember and am sure to visit for many more years.
