Lincoln Memorial - Nathaniel Ashley
Above is a picture of the outside of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, DC on the 4th of July. This was one of the loudest places I have been to in my life, and that is before fireworks are shot up. There were bands everywhere playing music, and I remember one guy dancing so erratically, I wasn't sure if he was having a seizure or not. He was escorted off the premisses if I remember. However, being able to see one of the iconic buildings of our nation was amazing. I can see it as being as amazing as the pyramids of Egypt. Not necessarily for the way it was built, but for what it represents to our nation.
