Post 10/Alexandra Bradford

There aren't a lot of pictures of Domestic Tranquility's cabins online other than the few on their website. My stay in their cabin was so relaxing and unique. Every surface, the floor, the walls, the beams in the ceiling, was made of wood from the owners’ property. The whole family pitched in to build all 4 of their cabins in an adirondack style, but each one was distinct. In the summers, when I stayed there, they had a bonfire each night that guests were invited to. You were right in the middle of the Ozarks’ woods and mountains. At night, you fell asleep to peaceful sounds of the forests, and in the morning you could cook fresh eggs from the chickens they raised. Something about the architecture, maybe a rustic style and country setting, made me feel so at peace, like their name advertises. The wood everywhere and the fireplace make you feel at home, warm and rested. When we left, the daughter waved goodbye as she guided a donkey away from the iron gate.
